The Conservative History Group launched in the autumn of 2002. It promotes debate, knowledge and discussion of Conservative Party politics through the ages. The Group meets in London, at the House of Commons and Conservative Central Office, and organises fringe events at the Party Conference.
A bi-annual Conservative History Journal is also published, with specially commissioned articles on famous and not so famous Conservative figures of the recent past and bygone times. A subscription to the Journal costs £15 per annum, and guarantees invitations to all events. Membership of the group is open to all Conservatives and those interested in Conservative Party history.
