The next meeting of the Conservative History Group will be held at the Thatcher Room, Portcullis House on Monday 21st April 2008 at 6.30pm. Simon Heffer & Nicholas Hillman will speak about Rivers of Blood: 40 Years On.

On Tuesday 17th June at 6.30pm Ffion Hague will deliver a talk on Lloyd George & His Women at the Thatcher Room, Portcullis House.

  • June 2007 - Peel & the Modern Conservative Party, a talk by Douglas Hurd.
  • April 2007 - The Wilberforce Lecture, delivered by The Rt Hon Davis Davis MP.
  • October 2006 - Conservative Party Conference fringe meeting. The speaker was Lord (David) Trimble.
  • July 2006 - "The Reputation of Neville Chamberlain". Speakers were Robert Self and Professor John Charmley.
  • April 2006 - "Harold Macmillan & Charles de Gaulle: An Impossible Relationship". A talk by Peter Mangold. Chaired by Keith Simpson MP
